WWI German P08 Artillery Luger Pistol. Manufactured by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken Company in German Code DWM. This Example is Dated 1917, This is a Rarer Variation of the Luger Pistol that was Designed to be Issued to Artillery Troops During WWI Instead of them Having to Carry Bulky Rifle. These Artillery Lugers Features an 8" Long Barrel with an Adjustable Rear Sight for Better Long Range Accuracy. The Blued Finish is Very Nice Overall and Pistol is Unusual in the Fact that the Stock Lug has been Removed. Many Times this Type of Thing was done in Accordance to the Treaty of Versailles Which Restricted the Amount and Type of Military Weapons Germany Could have and Use after their Loss in WWI. The Pistols Action is Nice and Tight and this Should make a fine Shooter. Caliber is 9mm, Serial Number is 25xxd
